Ok, Fr. Z, maintain away.
I do remember the Z-cam. Please make it easier to use!
God bless you and thanks for all you do.

Bring back Z-cam views of the bird feeders!
Z-cam, Z-cam, Z-cam! I 2nd Frank H.’s motion.
can i third Frank H.’s motion?
I’ve missed the birds too! Birdie nam nam!
missed Mr. Ray, although I have one here, and all these hungry little fellows.
I received an email saying that the Z-Cam would be operating at 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm along with Radio Sabina. I wasn’t sure what birds would be at the feeder at 7:00 pm on a cold Minnesota night, maybe night-flying penquins? Anyway the Z-Cam was off the air.
I see a feeder full of sun flower seeds.
Oh, so you’re migrating, too!
I should have guessed!
Oh yes! I miss seeing the birds! They are a gift from God with all their beauty and always make me smile. God bless you, Father, stay healthy and safe!
Oh yes. Bring back the Z-cam please.
I so missed Z-Cam and Radio Sabina… can’t wait to listen to the Advent broadcast.
What downyduck said. Me too!
I remember the OLD days of the Z-Cam and Radio Sabina with the 24/7 (or thereabouts) live view of the Sabine Chapel. Please bring it back! By ‘motu proprio’, if necessary…!
I’m with you Geoffrey – I remember that, and occasionally you’d see Father arrive and say low mass. So cool to ‘attend’ mass with Father Z. I also miss the view in Father Z’s office while he held chats and did work. Loved his ‘sede vacante’ sign!
@CaliCatholicGuy:
Yes! I recall catching Fr Z say Mass once… on a Thanksgiving Day, actually. And that same day Radio Sabina introduced me to the voice of Frank Patterson.
Fr. Z, I would hope that the vast majority of your readership would feel as I do. Take whatever time you need you get your infrastructure in order as you need, and some time to rest as well. Come back rested and ready to inspire those who value your opinion and leadership!
Please bring back the Z-Cam. I have always loved it!
Patiently waiting here for the Z-Cam and Radio Sabina.
While you’re at the maintenance Fr. did you know that your blog cannot be accessed via the Cloud wifi network in the UK?
Pastor: No, I did not know that.
Assuming blog traffic is less around this time, might be a good time for a take-down to do maintenance? Thanks for the warning though, in case I try to check out the blog during the onslaught of Thanksgiving busyness.
As with others, I miss all the views, news, sounds and snooze that the z-cam offered too – and if there is any chance of the z-chats coming back, I can suffer the loss of my lifeline a few days I guess.
I pray that it all goes smoothly and quickly, without angst. May lots of angels help you!! They can be quite handy y’know ;-)
I can almost hear faint strains of Chinese Opera…
oh. no. drat. That was the silverware drawer spilling onto the floor…
I like the explanation someone gave that Fr Z is migrating. I do hope there will be birds again?
Loved the Z-Cam. The bird feeders, the music, and even you at your desk, Father. I hope you bring it back!
“I like the explanation someone gave that Fr Z is migrating. ”
Following the birds?
I don’t if anyone else noticed but it appears that a large number of reader comments are missing as of about 9:15 PM CST, 19 November. Probably due to server maintenance.
