Fr. Z, I am happy you made it safe and sound to Rome. I look forward to your future dining and conference reports.
You are missing TEOTWAWKI in New York and New Jersey though. Keep them in your prayers.
Missing is relative.
What is that last bite that you left on the plate? Glad you arrrived safely.
The oxen tail bone, of course.
Glad you made it safe to Rome, Father. The food looks so good!
Ahhh, I see. I learned something new. Thanks, Fr. Z. Enjoy every moment of your stay.
Good to see you arrived safely, Fr. Z.
I’m glad you got there safely too with all the airlines struggles this week with Hurricane Sandy. My guardian angel prompted me to pray for your trip at mass this morning. I hope and pray all goes well for you and your trip, Father.
Pleeeease, Father, at some point, provide a recipe for that insalata using ingredients available in the states.
I’ll be in Rome tomorrow. Father, where is the restaurant? :o) I’hope to have the chance to shake your hand.
Looks wonderful.
Hope it’s a good trip.
Pasta Load…GOOD….
On my sat. morninng run i will pray a rosary for our nation….
Puntarelle, so delicious, such a pain in the posterior to make. I tried it once and that’s cured me from trying to assemble a puntarelle salad ever again. Was it a pricey dish? (For something like that, cost be damned!)
That’s hardly what I’d call a supper – it looks more like a dinner to me.
. . . using ingredients available in the states . . .
There’s the rub.
as much as I love anchovies, I never thought of putting them in a dessert before!
