Video of St Joseph Seminary seminarians in Edmonton building a snow archbishop (not sure why they’re calling it a snow pope).

This is one of the many memes that Imagine Sisters, an organization about a year old that encourages young women to consider religious life. HE Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke gave them a shout out a while back. Here is their website if anyone is interested:

When my kids were small/young they built something against the wall that I wish I had a picture of.
It was a snow white “porcelain” commode against the wall. Boy did I do a double take when I saw it, it was so real.

What i interpreted as a snowpriest, behind Holy Redeemer Church in Madison, and also several snowconstituents enjoying the weather recently on the grounds of the WI State Capitol Building:

No pic I can provide but my husband reported that, upon driving home from a rural area for an evening meeting the other night, he spotted an enormous snow ball, as tall as the first floor of the home it stood in front of. The whole way home he puzzled over how they were able to make it.

Also, while not done by a catholic church, every winter for as long as I can remember, there’s a christian community in Saskatoon that has a really cool ice nativity. Each piece is sculpted out of chicken wire and sprayed down with a hose multiple times in the freezing cold. I guess it’s one of the positive sides of sub zero temperatures.

No snow in England yet – many winters we don’t get any in this area – so no snowman pictures I’m afraid.

Great photos. Guatadopt, kids ran out of snow before doing the head, right? (Or maybe out of energy. ;-)
