I arrived in the nation’s capital. At the airport with Michael Voris, Fr Frank Pavone, and Fr Nicholson.

I just finished lunch with authoress and speaker Dawn Eden.

Now to the portrait gallery.

Tonight … who knows?

UPDATE

    How about this, Father:

    Café Mozart
    1331 H St NW

When in DC I also always make a stop at that wonderful Belgian chain, Le Pain Quotidien. DC has several locations scattered about the city.

  2. Choirmaster says:

Run for the hills! A new Nexus is forming!

  3. acardnal says:

May God bless our pro-lifers, especially our priests, who keep actively fighting and praying to end abortion and for preaching God’s truth in word and deed!

  4. wanda says:

Fearsome Foresome! Striking fear in the hearts of dissenters and nuns on buses everywhere.
(Picture needs a theme song, something like the one from Bonanza, maybe?)

  5. Jim of Bowie says:

Welcome to the ADW Father (in good company). Will you be offering a mass a St. Mary Mother of God during the day on Friday?

  6. HyacinthClare says:

A collection of heroes in one place! God bless you all!!

  7. Theodore says:

Nice line up. Reminds me of the “Steel Curtain” of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1970s.

  8. Jeff says:

How awesome it would be to be able to have a dinner conversation with you all!

  9. benedetta says:

Great photos! Here we too are preparing to embark on our journey to the March for Life.

  10. acardnal says:

wanda wrote, “(Picture needs a theme song, something like the one from Bonanza, maybe?)”

I agree. How about a photo to compare? I think I know which of the above would be Hoss Cartwright.

  11. Facta Non Verba says:

Theme song: assuming the Holy Trinity is present, how about the Magnificent Seven?

  12. wanda says:

acardnal, Ha! Thanks for the great picture. I love the side arms in the holsters. I concur with
your pick for Hoss, I think. Michael Voris – Little Joe?

  13. Glen M says:

Very cool. Three out of the four priests I pray for daily.

  14. acardnal says:

wanda, I found a youtube of the opening credit with the theme song! Seems to fit.

  15. wanda says:

acardnal, That’s awsome. Thanks for the smiles. OK, Fr. Pavone is Adam. That leaves Fr. Nicholson as Ben (Paw) Cartwright.

  16. Supertradmum says:

Wow, four real men together all in the same place at the same time in America. Must be a record show of courage of the Church Militant.

    Cool………..

  17. Supertradmum says:

    “Four Men in Black”?

  18. Good for you Father!

I’ll be there, too; but I doubt I can join you for the blognic, as I’m flying out about that time.

But send me a text or something if you get bored. I know a few good places to eat in D.C. and environs.

  19. Jacob says:

Father, is this the first time that you and Michael have been photographed together?

  20. HighMass says:

GOD BLESS ALL THE PRIESTS AND FAITHFUL WHO ARE PRO-LIFE, May this horror of abortion end soon, Our Lady of Guadalupe Intercede for this blood stained Nation.

  21. Jacob:

Hmmm, that’s a good point. I guess that settles one question, at least…

  22. Cool!! Great picture – you all look happy too. Glad y’all made it!

Listening in on Church Militant Micd Up in case you DO show up Father, as Michael hinted. Listening to Father Pavone now.

  23. NBW says:

Looks like the 4 Musketeers! Acardnal, I like the Bonanza thing too! I hope there are a million people that show up to this March For Life. Let’s see them try to ignore that!!

  24. Jacob says:

    Tina:
Thanks for reminding me about the radio show tonight!

  25. Facta Non Verba says:

The National Potrait Gallery was the original, old Patent Office. Back in the day, inventors would have to provide working models of their inventions. The National Potrait Gallery still has some of those old models on display. Also , it was the place of Lincoln’s 2nd inaugural ball. This is a very historic place, and one of my favorites when I visit DC, but not for the portraits.

  26. Jacob :-) y’welcome, maybe others listened in too!
The technical issues were many there in the lobby but I was able to hear everything. Glad you made it on Father.

  27. Frank Apostolica says:

    Fr. Z,

Dawn Eden, a close friend of mine, made me jealous having lunch with you. On Sunday she didn’t tell me that she was having lunch with you.

Dawn is a good and faithful servant and daughter of the Church.

    Sincerely,

    Fr. Sean Raftis
    Holy Cross
    Townsend, Montana

  28. Rachel K says:

That’s interesting Fr, I just discovered Dawn Eden and her work a few days ago via Fr Tim’s blog, she had been speaking in Blackfen recently. What a great work she is doing!
    Hope you enjoy your trip.

  29. bombermac says:

Seeing that top photo absolutely made my (and my wife’s) night! Supertradmum, I’m digging “Four Men in Black.” But I’m also thinking the Fantastic Four and maybe the Avengers. Perhaps all three?

And now to swipe a copy of that pic for the hard drive…

  30. DachsiesWithMoxieMama says:

God Bless you, now and forever!

  31. DachsiesWithMoxieMama says:

How about “The Four Horsemen of the Church Militant”?

  32. LaxMom25 says:

Upon seeing that pictrue, my 15 year-old son remarked, “That’s a Dream Team.”
Looking forward to a cold, yet powerful March for Life.
We love you all so much!

  33. Organorum says:

Father, I think you may have photographed a grotesque rather than a gargoyle! Gargoyles serve a useful purpose as water spouts, and can usually be seen with a pipe in their mouths, whereas grotesques are purely decorative features. Just thought I’d say!

  34. Organorum: You are perhaps referring to the four guys in the photo in the top entry?

  35. Charlotte Allen says:

You’re staying at the Henley Park? It’s the gargoyle hotel. The restaurant was quite good when I last ate there years ago.

  36. The Masked Chicken says:

    Hmmm… let me see:

    1. The four New Evangelists: Michael, Frank, Paul, and John

    2. The four Flyers of the Apocalypse

    3. Men in Black and White

    4. The New New Christy Minstrel Singers

    5. The Sorta Chant-y Quartet

    6. Prime, Terce, Sext, and None

    7. This space left blank

    8. BlackFlyers

    9. Collared

    10. The Black Birettas

    The Chicken

  37. Laura98 says:

I don’t know if the city can handle having all four of you together … I’m afraid that den of iniquity (known as Washington D.C.) might implode or something! Er… on the other hand, that might not be a bad thing – could take care of a lot of our problems all at once! LOL

Seriously, I wish you all a wonderful and blessed time together in our Nation’s Capitol. May all your endeavors be successful. God Bless.

  38. Small world, I too have had lunch with Dawn :)
