You have got to be joking. With all the people who read your blog everyday it is still anywhere near close?
There is something wrong here. Maybe the award site is based in Chicago.
I’m voting daily.
It’s really easy to vote and it takes really only a few seconds. Even the bizarre things are easy to decipher (much more easy than those for Father Z’s blog where I failed a lot of times!). So I ask every reader of this blog to vote daily so that we can continue of being instructed by Father. By the way, “daily” does’n apply to the date, for exemple the 13th, the 14th and so on, but it means apparently that you can only vote once every 24 hours. I voted late last night (before midnight) and wanted to re-vote this morning but a message said that I “had already voted today”. That’s just to keep in mind to be fully efficient. Thank you all.
Wishing you a continued safe trip.
FYI, the blog seemed to be offline throughout the day yesterday here.
I don’t even read the these Stone Walls blog, and I read this one every day. But since it seems that blogger is a priest accused of a crime he didn’t commit every time I see a reminder to vote for this blog I always feel we should all be voting for that one, especially since it is Father Z who often points out the plight of false accusations for priests in the current climate. Maybe that is why the voting is still so close. Holy Souls Hermitage is asking readers to vote for These Stone Walls and not their own, why aren’t we following suit? Everyone knows this blog is awesome without a voting award which it will continue to win in the future anyway.
Thanks for reminding us to pray–for all things at all times. It seems to me with this new Pope that prayer could be the “next big thing.” And thanks for recommending the Mystic Monk–I’m hooked on it, and my kids love the K-cups I’ve been sending that at college. Perfect for college kids–it’s such high quality, they can get 2 or 3 cups of coffee from one shot!
@Andrew:
Nothing against the other blogs or the worthiness of their authors, but if we rely on Fr. Z, then we should vote for him.
I agree, Gus. For the first time ever, I voted in one of these things last night — for this blog. I did it because I come here all the time. There’s real information here, and not just entertainment.
Hey, look. Let’s not debate here the merits of the fine blog These Stone Walls in contrast with this or the others.
I have made a simple appeal. If you find this blog useful, or the most useful, please vote for it. Simple.
Thanks in advance.
I’ll close the combox now.
