I lunched with a priest friend today.
We chose Thai.
I almost didn’t go in because the restaurant had one of those vile signs against CCW on the door. I’ll probably not go back.
That said, my friend thought I should have ordered this:
Speaking of Thai, remember Fathers… always open carry a maniple and a beretta. Just…
Why would anyone object to Corpus Christi Watershed? They do sterling service in the cause of sacred music?
We are certainly on the same wavelength food-wise.

CCW = carry concealed weapon
A maniple and a beretta… LOL. Is a beretta some sort of diminutive feminine priestly beret worn on special feast days? You need a 2m HT too, don’t you? Where were priests like Father Z when I was growing up?
Fr. Z.,
I’m on tip-toes wondering what you finally decided on for a CCW. Remember, this was a New Year’s Resolution.
RichR: Yes, indeed. I outdid my resolution in getting the license not only for where I live, but also for Utah non-resident, which adds a bunch more states. I will soon get the Florida non-resident as well.
I plan to get mine, as well. I’m leaning toward a Walther PPK/S.
RichR says:
Walther PPK/S.
Will you also get an Aston Martin DB5?
Asto… That’s not a gun it’s a car!! … o-o-0h, I get it.
