Thank you, Father Z., for this, and for all your prayers. God save and protect my hero and mentor Msgr. Charles Pope. Jesus I trust in you!
Just last week (Thursday the 23rd) Msgr. Pope did a fundraising effort for Guadalupe Radio (1160 AM is in Washington, DC) where he discussed Courage, and standing up for beliefs, even if the truth hurts people. He also encouraged more clergy to exercise Courage by bringing up uncomfortable subjects from the pulpit. I happened to see this last week (Guadalupe Radio livestreams it and it looked like Msgr Pope did this from his office at the parish) and it was time well spent. I don’t know Msgr. Pope personally, but I can tell he is a good priest. Let’s pray for him, and let’s pray for the repose of the soul of Herman Cain.
Please be sure that he starts HCQ, soon. It saved my life!
I hope his doctors are aware of this:

…”given very early in the course of illness, before the virus has had time to multiply beyond control, it has shown to be highly effective, especially when given in combination with the antibiotics azithromycin or doxycycline and the nutritional supplement zinc.”
@grateful – yes – anyone who suspects or tests positive for COVID-19 should ask their doctor to prescribe Hydroxychloroquine with Azithromycin, and Zinc. When a Yale Epidemiologist backs HCQ you know it’s not about Trump or politics, it’s about what works.

Prayers to Msgr. Pope – a great priest who’s been surviving in the lions den for many, many years.
Praying!
Prayers for Monsignor Pope. He can beat this. My cousin recovered from covid and she is 80.
Msgr. Pope is one of the most wonderful priests in Washington. My prayers are with him.
