Today this is not even surprising. We’ve been heading to this point for quite a few years without push back on our part. Between Masses being restricted in a fashion that dept. stores, liquor stores and others are not, being arrested for chalking Black Pre-Born Lives Matter, Catholics and other Christians being singled out for the faith we profess, makes me wonder if we’ve become the remnant of our faith. Masses are open in NH but in a restricted manner for health reasons, but at best where we used to have almost 400 people at the 8:00Am Mass we barely reach a hundred though we can safely seat 250. Catholic statues being toppled, AOC denigrating Father Damien…do we see a pattern here? I’m wondering also, how the bishops are going to do away with the dispension of Mass when this crisis is over and get people to Mass after all these months of sleeping in on Sunday mornings.

According the Washington Times, yesterday a group got a permit to paint “Black Pre-Born Lives Matter” on the street here: https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/jul/31/pro-lifers-win-permission-to-paint-black-preborn-l/

This arrest must have been a result of the city taking revenge.

God bless these young people in a powerful way. How courageous, but how sad that this brings about arrest. What has happened to our country?! Only God can undo this mess, and we have been told that peace will only come about through Mother Mary. (St. John Paul II)
