    Seeing this remarkable piece from the Torlonia Marbles, I began to wonder if Sîn-lēqi-unninni, might have composed something akin to:
    “Polyphemus and Ulysses in the cave. At Cyclopes.
    Polyphemus, his belly empty, his eye searching.
    Ulysses arms open in the dark. Waiting.
    Polyphemus in the cave. Asleep.
    Ulysses thrusts with timber hot and pointed.
    Polyphenous, no man his one eye blinded.
