YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

PLEASE use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

In your charity would you please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

Let’s remember all who are ill, who will die soon, who have lost their jobs, and who are afraid.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Some are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below.

You have to be registered here to be able to post.

I ask a prayer for myself.  I’m dealing with a particular challenge right now.

Also, I received this note very late 13/14 Aug:

A young Polish priest from the FSSP, Fr. Krzysztof Sanetra, is currently in life threatening condition in an ICU in Poland. We do not have the details (he was away for his vacation) other than he was very sick and sent an email asking for prayers, but now the situation has turned dire and he’s in life-threatening condition.

Please, prayers from your readership. He’s only 37.

For my mom who told me in tears that she does not know how to pray anymore, for the return to the Faith of my immediate and extended family, and for my grandfather who is the victim of elder abuse.

For my friend and coworker, Stephanie J., who is facing life-threatening medical issues.

  2. pjschmidtmn says:

Let us pray for all students as they return to school this fall so that they might grow in the wisdom of our Lord and give glory to God through their studies. Especially for my daughter Margaret-Mary who will begin he studies at Benedictine College next week as a communications major.

Even more urgently, let us pray for all those who teach in Catholic Schools who have strayed from the faith and are either knowingly or unknowingly leading our young ones astray. Let us pray for a change of heart for their return to the faith.

  3. JohnW says:

May Our Mother of Perpetual Help come to the aide of Father Sanetra. She is advocate of hope and the refuge of sinners.

  4. Sandy says:

Please pray for K. who has symptoms that may indicate a brain tumor. (I am counting on St. Joseph, and don’t know of a saint for this type of petition.) Prayers for you, Father, and all here.

  5. beelady says:

My husband, Patrick, died unexpectedly on July 20th. He was 57. Please pray for the repose of his soul and for me, Kim, that I will have the strength to carry this cross.
The grief I feel is overwhelming, he was my best friend for 37 years.

  6. Merelin says:

Please pray for complete healing for me from my double jaw surgery, and in particular, that the hole in the roof of my mouth will close completely and not become infected. Thank you so much! Prayers for everyone here.

  7. grateful says:

I heard a prayer request on Relevant radio for a small child who has some cornea disease and for a time will have to have her eyelids sewn shut.
For the sake of His Sorrowful Passion, Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

  8. I will pray for all of these requests.

    Please pray for:
-David who is addicted to drink, recovering from cancer, and struggling with depression
-Luke who has special needs, for help with his anxiety, hitting himself, and for a more clear speaking voice
-Janalyn, fortitude and perseverance as a mother and wife in a very challenging family situation
-the repose of the holy souls in Purgatory, and for all those who will die shortly and face judgment, especially those most in danger of damnation.

  9. Gaetano says:

I suffered a traumatic brain injury in a car accident last October.

Testing last week showed that I my cognitive abilities, visual processing & auditory memory are still substantially impaired. I’m a lawyer, so it’s impossible for me to work.

Please pray for me through the intercession of St. Thomas Aquinas. Reading the Summa (and crossword puzzles) actually helps my recovery.
