YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

PLEASE use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

In your charity would you please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

Let’s remember all who are ill, who will die soon, who have lost their jobs, and who are afraid.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Some are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below.

You have to be registered here to be able to post.

I ask a prayer for myself.  I’m dealing with a particular challenge right now.

Also, I received this note today:

Phillip Douglas Steinacker, of Baltimore MD, a long time ZedHead, passionate Catholic, one-on-one evangelist (he could not stop himself), and good friend who introduced me to your awesome blog, died peacefully of cancer on August 24, 2022.  Phil occasionally contributed comments, and was a fan.  I just wanted to share.

While I am sad to hear of the passing away of a long-time participant here, I am glad to receive the news so that we can pray for the repose of his soul.  Should any of his family or friends see this, please know that readers here will surely stop and say a prayer.

I just started a 5-year master’s and doctorate program and need to find some freelance work to help with expenses this first year.

I’m sad to hear of a fellow reader’s passing, God rest Phillip’s soul. Sounds like he worked in the vineyard of the Lord.
If you would, a prayer for a young relative and his parents. The young man’s name is Michael, and he needs help for both mental illness and drug use. His parents are in denial and that makes recovery very hard. He is a sweetheart of a young man.
Thank you, and I’ll pray for all intentions.

I am working on a long-term project and need God’s guidance and protection. Please pray for me.
Thank you and I too will pray for all intentions.

For a little boy in my community who is terminally ill with brain tumors and his sibling who has leukemia.

    For my grandfather, Joe Scarborough.

    For my parents and siblings.

May Mr.Steinacker Rest In Peace. His soul, and family will be remembered in our family prayers.

Please pray for my wife Jessica. Her parents “kicked” her out of her family five years ago. Her parents tried to get my wife and I to fight and then suggested we separate. My wife was irate to say the least. The reason they wanted us apart was that we do not do things the way that they want. The parents cried that our Wedding would be the Latin Mass and the relationship has been strained from that moment. My wife tried reconnecting with her Mom after six years. Things went ok and my wife suggested she visit when our new baby is born anyway now. Her Mother said no, both my wife and I aren’t where they want us to be, ie still the Latin Mass. Her Dad is Kevin Dunn of ewtn, he detests the Church’s tradition and tried destroying a family over his hatred of it. Please pray for my wife as she is suffering deeply with the rejection by her “prophets of hope” parents.

Ten months ago, I was rear-ended while at a complete stop in rush hour traffic.

While I’ve recovered from the neuro-muscular injuries, I continue to suffer the after-effects of a concussion/traumatic brain injury.

My brain injury has had a massive impact on my ability to work. While I test high in many areas, I have pronounced deficits in visual processing, visual/auditory memory & executive function. Literally 95% function in some areas, and 10% in others.

After multiple rounds of testing, physical therapy & rehabilitation, I still have not recovered. I am also an attorney, so my injuries prevent me from working.

Please pray for the healing of my brain, especially through the intercession of St. Thomas Aquinas. Re-reading his works has helped improve my abstract & logical thinking.
