    The loudest possible Amen!!!

  2. Gab says:

    Magnificent!

    ”For what is this the solution?”

    And that’s the nub of it.

  3. Kathleen10 says:

    Very poignant, and amen to it.

    Absolute brilliance! I don’t think it’s irreverent to call good parody “inspired”, this certainly is. Surround the chanceries indeed, and inflict the migraines upon the mitred brows! The one thing that these sanctimonious “progressives” (inside the Church and out as well) absolutely can’t abide is ridicule, let’s drive ‘em bonkers!

    (Imagine: translated – faithfully and well – into Spanish and Italian, this being chanted nonstop beneath the windows of the “Hotel Sanctae Marthae”!)

    For what is this solution? The same as is was 100 years ago. Pray the rosary, stay in a state of Grace, pray for the souls in purgatory and do penance.

    My Jewish insurance agent, God rest his soul, shared great wisdom when I met with him. Business took 5 minutes, the rest was filled with faith Faith, his Jewish and my Catholic. He was born in the 1920’s and had seen a lot.

    His remarks of this crazy world? When his niece brought her girlfriend to a family gathering, he could not share the family’s joy.

    He looked at me, sighed very deeply and said “God has not changed.”

    God has not changed. Wow. Amen.

    God has not changed. Viva Christo Rey!

    @Archaic ?
    Don’t forget the all important Latin. Although chances are they would probably not understand it hahaha

    Thanks to all for the kind comments on my parody, and thanks to Fr. Z for sharing it!

    I find that mocking the absurd is a helpful way to maintain sanity in these difficult times. For anyone interested in another recent parody (a bit more lighthearted than that one): “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Advent”

    I don’t think the Libs will like this at all. Please share!
