Yesterday news broke about a decree from the Vatican’s Secretariate of State which suppresses individual Masses by priests in the Vatican Basilica and grossly restricts the location for the Traditional Latin Mass to the Clementine Chapel. I wrote on it HERE.
The images of the decree that circulated are odd, because there is no protocol number or full signature from the “Affari Generali” section.
Some raised the question of the genuine nature of the decree.
A friend of mine sent me this photo from Rome today. I guess that pretty much does it.

Well, with everything going on in the world and in the Church, I’m glad the Vatican is focusing on the really important task of suppressing private Masses. What a relief.
Interesting correlation —perhaps just coinkidinkal — but private Masses drew the particular ire of the so-called reformers of the 16th Century.
One reason for the suppression of private Masses is opposition to the Mass as a sacrifice (as opposed to a mere communion service). Is there any other reason?
So, oledocfarmer, it’s hardly a coincidence that the motives and methods of “spirit of Vatican II” protestantizers reflect those of the original Protestants.
The lightbulb ? only went on today – to pray earnestly through the Immaculate Heart of Mary and St. Joseph that the person appointed to fill Cardinal Sarah’s now-empty post will be EXACTLY the person heaven wants.
Perhaps this new decision helped flip the switch for that light to go on.

WVC: Many at the Vatican are afraid of and hate Catholics, on a daily basis they offer a pinch of incense to the U.N. or the E.U. or China and they throw a tantrum when Catholics remind them of the Catholic faith. Some in the hierarchy and some laity lust for revenge against Catholics who criticize their deviant behavior. Some of them are also experiencing fear because of the growing resistance.
It’s not just the toxic Vatican. Likewise, the Installed Death Regime in their D.C. compound despises Americans. In the military at the moment, numerous Marine Corps Twitter accounts, clearly operated by feminazis and soyboys who are unfamiliar with the Constitution and the Marine Corps uniform that they wear, are lashing out not only at Tucker Carlson for his criticism of military preparedness, but also at American citizens who tactfully ask the Marine Corps to focus on the ChiComs and leave American journalists alone. Last summer the JCS Chairman, after accompanying the President to the Church of the Presidents, submitted to a Struggle Session: he spluttered and wrung his hands in shame, practically wept for forgiveness, then posed for a photo sitting on a table with the other Joint Chiefs behind him as if they were a boy band on the cover of Teen Vogue. The U.S. military, given the current leadership and current attitude, is likely to learn some very hard lessons this decade.
These Vatican bureaucrats and their collaborators among the laity, these government bullies, these juvenile jarheads and other military gutless wonders and keyboard warriors are presently running amok. Their moment never lasts. These humans forget that they are merely temporary custodians of the Church, the government, the military. One way or another the Truth will out and Justice will be served. An existential battle of monumental proportions is brewing.
