Could we do an encore after the Holy Mass in D.C. on 24 April?
I should certainly come unless unavoidably prevented. What part of town would be most convenient? I gather from Father’s posts that he is not inconveniently far from the Thirties.
I could make it, barring a funeral that day.
Besides Monday, what other days are possible?
I have out of town company that day, unfortunately, so would not be able to make it.

A Manhattan blognic on Easter Monday would be great! I would enjoy seeing you and others while I am home from college on Easter break. Some friends of mine would enjoy the opportunity as well. Keep us updated and have a blessed Holy Week!

Fr. Z, I hope you could come to DC on Apr. 24 to attend the Pontifical High Mass in EF at the Basilica Shrine, you will meet many priests of our Archdiocese who are planning to attend. I will also bring my parishioners.
I cannot make it, but I would love for you Father Z to come to the Greater Cincinnati area. :)
Monday would be fine for me. Any day that week other than Tuesday, too.

Ah! I’m in town for Easter and Easter Monday and might be able to actually swing it if it’s in the afternoon, depending on family obligations.
So, are we getting some consensus about an early evening blognic on Easter Monday in Manhattan?
I’ll actually be in NYC for Easter. It’s tempting, but I think I’ll be on the road headed back home by Monday. Unless, of course, it’s a blognic breakfast. Safe travels, Father.
Oh, I’d love to be in NYC for the blognic, Fr. Z-but I sure wish that someday you could come to the Upstate part of New York and have one up here!

I’ve not been here, but the location seems convenient and the reviews (Yelp and Google) seem encouraging.
4:00 pm at The Ginger Man
I have been there, and remember it as being spacious with a very nice selection of beers, though the service was unspectacular. Yelp and Google
4:00 pm at Keen’s
Not at all cheap—though one can certainly find more expensive with no trouble—but one-of-a-kind. A very good place for traditionalists! Yelp and Google
I would go, and I am shore other NJ residents would cross the bridge/tunnel as well.

I truly hope I am not out of line when I invite all to an event on Monday at Annie Moore’s…it is a good place for a Blognic, plus an excellent opportunity to hear a great speaker, have a drink and some food!….again- hope I’m not stepping on any toes!!
On Easter Monday, April 3rd, Fr. John Perricone will give his 2nd talk in the Dogma and Spirits series titled: “Is same-sex marriage a civil right?” The talk begins at 7pm and will be conducted in the lower dining room of Annie Moore’s restaurant, just outside Grand Central Station. The talk is sponsored by the Agnus Dei Knights of Columbus and is open to all.
The dining room will open especially for us at 6pm, so you can come early for dinner and drinks. Note, you can also order dinner during the talk. Though our first talk last month went swimmingly and was well attended with 30 people, Annie Moore’s requires a bigger [and hungrier/thirstier] crowd than that. In essence, we need to make it worth their while to open the lower dining area. Invite a friend or family member and consider having dinner and drinks with us. It’s Easter Monday, and during the octave we should celebrate in grand fashion.

Has something been decided as to exact time and place? As for me, I should find it helpful to know the details fairly soon (arranging work schedule) and perhaps others are in the same position.

Please just show up and enjoy! It is technically free, but most people donate a few bucks to Fr. for his efforts….I think the suggested is $5, but again, that is your call…feel free to give more!
