“This blog is rather like a fusion of the Baroque ‘salon’ with its well-tuned harpsichord around which polite society gathered for entertainment and edification and, on the other hand, a Wild West “saloon” with its out-of-tune piano and swinging doors, where everyone has a gun and something to say. Nevertheless, we try to point our discussions back to what it is to be Catholic in this increasingly difficult age, to love God, and how to get to heaven.” - Fr. Z

No words can possibly discribe the beauty of this sacrament and the CHURCH!
O precious sons of Mary! May the LORD bless and keep thee generously supplied with His grace, through her. Amen.

I feel better already…
This looks like a beautiful ceremony! These guys are dedicated to ceremony and thus Tradition!
I may seam like a repeating record, but I’m compelled to reiterate the simple truth that the majority of Catholics have their heads in the sand.
I know that sounds harsh: just last Sunday, my family of four girls and one boy, sat behind a family of six boys and one girl!
Wonderful stuff!
My only point is; well, I guess my only point is Paul VI inspired me to have a baby way past the point where my wife and I should physically be having babies; so, tonight, I raise a toast to Paul VI!
Thanks for the link, William of the Old!
As a supporter of ICRSS, I’ve been especially prayerful over this past week, what with ordinations and anniversaries of ordinations. I have a picture of seminarians from 2004-05, of a group that I’ve daily prayed over and kept in my thoughts — and the last two of them were ordained last week. Very emotional. I cried when I saw the photos of the laying of the hands; such a beautiful, solemn moment.
God bless them, may they have a long, holy priesthood!
I can’t express how envious I am
Maltese: last Sunday, my family of four girls and one boy, sat behind a family of six boys and one girl!
I know a small private daily TLM group, less than a dozen families, two of which have 8 children. At the local Sunday TLM, families with 4 to 6 children are common. A visitor asked what kind of water these trads drink. The reply that “They’re just faithful Catholics” apparently was not considered an adequate explanation.
Yay for the FSSP!
