I received this from the head of the Cardinal Newman Society:

Father, we announced our 2014 Newman Guide to Choosing a Catholic College this week. To help spread the word we started a little contest. 10 winners will get free copies for the Catholic parishes and schools of their choice. Could you help us promote it?

Our press release has the details and link. The contest is until 11:59pm EDT tonight.

I’m so glad to see that FisherMore made the list. They are affordable, homeschool-friendly, and the students go to daily EF Mass and receive a daily catechism lesson and participate in the Divine Office along with their studies.

    I don’t see anything about a contest.

I was just wondering about a list of authentic/orthodox Catholic colleges and if such a list was available. I have three kids and in my oldest will be a college freshman in 5 yrs. (ugh).

The Newman Guide is what you want; it’s published by the Cardinal Newman Society. Fr. has helpfully linked their website here on the right sidebar, below. Some parents also feel that a secular college can be alright so long as there is a strong Newman Center on campus.

Of the Newman Guide schools, Wyoming Catholic College intrigues me the most.

Their promotional video is fabulous and can be viewed here:
