Islamic State (ISIS) burns 19 Yazidi girls to death in iron cages after they refuse sex to jihadis

[…]

According to the local activists, the incident has taken place during the recent days in the city of Mosul in Iraq.

Abdullah Al-Malla, a local media activist, has told the Kurdish news agency ARA News, that the girls were burnt alive after they refused to have sex with the fighters of the group.

“They were punished for refusing to have sex with Isis militants,” Al-Malla said.

Another eyewitness has also said that the brutal execution of the girls was carried out in an open area and in front of the hundreds of people.

The eyewitness said the girls were locked inside the cage and were set on fire in front of the public as no one could do anything for the victims.

The terror group has been attempting to eliminate the Yazidi people as part of its ethnic cleansing efforts.

According to the reports, the terror group has taken thousands of Yazidi women and girls in their custody, mainly using them as sex slaves.

Sex slavery and rape is in accordance with Quran chapter and verse. Sex slaves are war booty. Following a victory, Muhammad would usually distribute the captives, both male and female, as slaves to his soldiers. And Muhammad is the “perfect example for Muslims.” According to Islamic law, Muslim men can take “captives of the right hand” (Qur’an 4:3, 4:24, 33:50). The Qur’an says: “O Prophet! Lo! We have made lawful unto thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowries, and those whom thy right hand possesseth of those whom Allah hath given thee as spoils of war” (33:50). 4:3 and 4:24 extend this privilege to Muslim men in general. The Qur’an says that a man may have sex with his wives and with these slave girls: “The believers must (eventually) win through, those who humble themselves in their prayers; who avoid vain talk; who are active in deeds of charity; who abstain from sex, except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess, for (in their case) they are free from blame.” (Qur’an 23:1-6)

I do not understand why the Church persists in saying Chridtians and muslims worship the same God.

St. Theresa of Avila, pray for us, St. Joan of Arc , pray for us

Friends of Father Z’s blog, let’s all pray for these little girls and call on the great Saints of Holy Mother Church to pray for us. Name your favorite Saints and ask them to intercede in this time of evil. No cutting and pasting Saint names from the net. We who never met these girls will not forget them.

St. Ann, pray for us, St Joseph (terror of demons), pray for us…

This simply makes me ill. As a family we like to go on “Rosary drives” because we live in a very beautiful rural setting (blessed that we are). After the Rosary we pray the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy.

After we finish we offer our intentions for our devotions. When it comes to mine (dad) I *always* offer it up for those Christians who are being persecuted by Isis, Isil, Al Qaeda, etc., and I also offer it for those groups who may not be Christian.

Then I see this. Dear Lord, have mercy.

As the fine Fathers of Mercy priest, Fr. Bill Casey, C.P.M., says of militant or fundamentalist Muslim groups (comparing them with the Devil and his minions), “You cannot placate, you cannot negotiate, you cannot satiate an enemy who is Hell bent for your utter destruction.”

    Yeah, no kidding.

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.

A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”

    -–Winston Churchill, 1899

FYI, not that this lessens the atrocity, but this happened over a year ago.

[Right. It does not lessen the atrocity just because it was a while ago. Lest we forget.]

Dear God in Heaven, have mercy!!!!!!!

And what does our Church say about the religion of peace? I’ll tell you.
The marquis at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Louisville, KY says it all. It reads:
“To Our Muslim Neighbors, Have a Blessed Ramadan.”

  8. mobrien says:

I have not seen any reference of this in The New York Times — not too surprised, either!

  9. KateD says:

The West doesn’t understand the objectives of Islam well enough yet. When the West comprehends that these acts are what all of Islam is, not some extreme form, then it will be possible to adequately address it.

Islamic peace can only happen when all infidels (including all Christians which Americans are predominantly) are dead or converted and there is only Islam, and it’s laws.

Islam is at war with every person individually and every country that is not Muslim.

They have clearly declared war on the West and are using every means at their disposal to wage it.

Whether or not we want war with them, they are already engaged in war with us. They will never cease, until they are forcibly stopped.

Whee is McCain, Schumer, Pelosi, Hollywood, Kathy Griffin, and Oprah screaming their lungs out in outrage overt this ?

  11. DeGaulle says:

I have read recent reports in the Irish Independent newspaper that vigilante groups are taking terrible revenge upon the members of Boko Haram and ISIS in areas where they have been defeated. The writers display far more concern for the welfare of these doomed fighters than they ever did for their innocent victims, whose death they did not report at all.

I have to admit that these reports of the demise of the Boko Haram and ISIS monsters will not cause me too much loss of sleep.

  12. Holy St Perfectus, martyr at hands of Islam for denouncing Mohammed as a false prophet and stating the TRUTH of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the True Catholic Faith , PRAY FOR US… pray for them.

After Nostra Aetate and the like supplanted Truth with “Kumbaya,” it was just a matter of time before atrocities like this would become mainstream and their perpetrators mislabeled as outliers.

Faithful Catholics know what we have to do, which is to restore the Truth. Are we praying for the fortitude and the courage to do so?

  15. bibi1003 says:

I don’t know what to do. I’ve contacted my bishop, but he doesn’t respond to rigid Pharisees like me.

Right now I’m just praying to the Blessed Mother to help me stop hating. I find myself not only hating ISIS, but also the whole “Let’s hold hands with our Muslim brothers” attitude of Nostra Aetate. I said a decade of the rosary for the conversion of ISIS members last night after reading this article. It was HARD.

  16. Semper Gumby says:

Absit invidia: Good question. It seems that Kathy Griffin and militant Western “feminists” would rather join the alKhansaa Brigade than protest this atrocity or protest Sharia law. (The alKhansaa Brigade is ISIS’s female morals police- a nasty bunch according to news reports).

DeGaulle: Good point. News reports say that ISIS has also picked a fight with several Bedouin tribes in Libya and in the Sinai. Hopefully that will end well for the Bedouin.

This atrocity reminds me that in 2014 a neuroscientist named Ian Robertson wrote an article for the UK’s Telegraph: “The Science behind ISIL’s Savagery.” Robertson’s article was apparently widely read. It contained the usual bromides: anyone can turn into an extremist, savagery begets savagery, revenge, testosterone, etc. However, no mention in the article of Islam being the prime factor, or a factor at all, for burning modest young girls alive.

pj_houston: Thanks for the Churchill quote. An anecdote from today’s UK: at least several UK newspapers refer to the Pakistani Muslims in the Manchester area who ran sex grooming rings that preyed on English girls as… “Asians.” Britain could use a Prime Minister who wields a cane and looks like a bulldog.

  17. pj_houston says:

Speaking of Nostra Aetate, how many Catholics know that the homosexual ex-priest Gregory Baum wrote the first draft of NA? Yes, you read that right. Years later he left the Church to “come out” and live his unnatural life style in the open. He’s friends with Fr. Rosica of Salt and Light TV, who’s perhaps best known for threatening to sue a blogger for exposing him as a heretic.

Be appeased, O Lord, we beseech Thee, and come to our aid: and through the prayers of blessed Ubaldus, Thy confessor and bishop, stretch forth in our defense the right hand of Thy mercy and save us from all snares of the devil.
