My View For Awhile: Alignment

Are you spending a few days in Madrid?

[YES! Great city. And the weather is wonderful.]

I don’t like that crescent and star above Rome…

Everything is lining up under the feet of Leo for the alignment of September 23, the 49th anniversary of the birth in Patriam of my patron, Padre Pio.

Praying for your safe travels, Fr. Z. Keep your head on a swivel.

Maybe you were able to fly Allitalia or Air France for a change.

One of my fears is that I will check my smartphone after landing at an airport and see the back of my head on a FrZ post. I would have just had to turn around to meet a dearly-beloved priest for the first time.

PSA: If your US airport of entry supports it, you’ll want to get the Mobile Passport app. When returning from Rome, for the first time since I don’t remember when, I got through immigration and customs and to the baggage carousel before the bags did.
