My View For Awhile: Creston Edition

I’m on my way to Assumption Grotto in Detroit for Pentecost Sunday Mass.

May I just add that I am reaching my saturation point with airports? The TSA fellow investigated my collar as if it were … I can’t even imagine what it might have been.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to seeing my friends in Detroit. Wonderful people. And another priest friend will have an overlapping visit there too. It should be grand.

Your collar?! Hmmm… keeping any illegal substances in your collar Father? I bet the guy was just checking out the collar. I wonder how this thing works? Is it comfortable?

This reminds me of an old friend showing us, my to be husband and I, his sermon, tucked up his sleeve. He said, with a Parisian accent, “James bond sermon.” Good times.

I hope that extra suffering earned you a soul Father. Thank you for being a priest. God bless you!

Of course you’re a potential terrorist, Father. Haven’t you heard of the sect of priests—I believe they’re called Jesuits, that fly airplanes into buildings, trucks into crowds of people, and detonate suicide vests. Oh wait, that would be followers of the Religion of Pieces…. Political Correctness run amok.
