Thanks for the information, Father. And if anyone is also interested, Holy Mass is offered using the Extraordinary Form every Sunday at 8:00am at another parish:
St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church
3405 NW 27th Ave
Miami, FL
Confessions before Mass
For more information: (305) 633-6009
Thank you for the info Father. If I go, it’ll be my first time at a Mass in the EF.
This is indeed very good news. The clergy who desired the indult in years past suffered greatly for asking.
Fr. Enrique T. Rueda is still here: http://www.shrineofsaintphilomena.com/
The pastor at St. Thomas said a few months ago that a group of parishioners had requested the TLM, and that he was responding by getting trained in it. He had never been trained in the TLM since he was ordained in the late 1970s. A priest from the west coast of Florida was travelling to Miami regularly to offer the training. There was a post on the TLM in the west coast of Florida here: https://wdtprs.com/2007/10/naples-fl-implementing-summorum-pontificum/ . We are thankful for the assistance offered to our parish.
The date for the Mass may not be correct. Call the parish to confirm before going.
