My prayers for you, Father Z. …
Fr,
My thoughts are with that ‘someone close’ and yourself. Each day, I’ll be offering for you both, a decade of the afternoon Rosary from Lourdes.
Jane
Sorry to hear about your friend, Father Z.
with prayers to St. Joseph…
Nothing like a good workout to perk you up, Father.
If you can get to a gym.
I am sorry about your friend. I will include him in Lauds prayers today.
God bless.
Father,
I too am sorry to hear about your friend. My grandmother is going through this at the moment as well, and I know how difficult it must be. I assure you I will pray for that “someone close”
God Bless you, Father
John P.
Praying for you and your friend.
Speaking of St. Joseph…. the other day in the conference on Summorum Pontificum, Fr. Nicola Bux was answering questions about how to deal with obstacles to the implementation of the Motu Proprio (meaning bishops… the bishops in Italy have been a real obstacle). He said that we have to pray to St. Joseph.
St. Joseph, he reminded us, is the universal patron of the Church. So, we should pray to St. Joseph either to open their eyes or to close them.
Sorry to hear of your frustrations, Father. I hope things look up soon. I will keep your ailing friend in my prayers. God bless and be with you.
Sfortunatamente, Padre, quello e un lato della Citta’ Eterna che conosco anche io troppe bene. Maltempo, persone non disponibile, atmosphera un po senza ospitalita’…
Ma, communque, buona vacanza e pelligrinagio!

I am sorry to hear this, Father. I had assumed that your visit would be purely enjoyable. I hope that tomorrow is a better day. Praying for you!
we should pray to St. Joseph either to open their eyes or to close them.
Ow!!!
I prayed an “Our Father” for your friend with emphasis on ‘thy will be done’.
Dear Father Z,
Prayers are being said for your friend and you. Offering all the difficulties of this weekend for you and your intentions.
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for those who have recourse to thee!
Father Z,
A rosary for you and your dear friend this evening.
In Our Lord through Our Lady.
Thanks, everyone, for the kind thoughts. Yesterday was dreadful in many ways, though I did have that good lunch and a decent supper.
