“He [Satan] will set up a counter-Church which will be the ape of the Church because, he the devil, is the ape of God. It will have all the notes and characteristics of the Church, but in reverse and emptied of its divine content. It will be a mystical body of the anti-Christ that will in all externals resemble the mystical body of Christ. In desperate need for God, whom he nevertheless refuses to adore, modern man in his loneliness and frustration will hunger more and more for membership in a community that will give him enlargement of purpose, but at the cost of losing himself in some vague collectivity.”
“Who is going to save our Church? Not our bishops, not our priests and religious. It is up to you, the people. You have the minds, the eyes, and the ears to save the Church. Your mission is to see that your priests act like priests, your bishops act like bishops.”

"But if, in any layman who is indeed imbued with literature, ignorance of the Latin language, which we can truly call the 'catholic' language, indicates a certain sluggishness in his love toward the Church, how much more fitting it is that each and every cleric should be adequately practiced and skilled in that language!" - Pius XI
"Let us realize that this remark of Cicero (Brutus 37, 140) can be in a certain way referred to [young lay people]: 'It is not so much a matter of distinction to know Latin as it is disgraceful not to know it.'" - St. John Paul II
Grant unto thy Church, we beseech Thee, O merciful God, that She, being gathered together by the Holy Ghost, may be in no wise troubled by attack from her foes. O God, who by sin art offended and by penance pacified, mercifully regard the prayers of Thy people making supplication unto Thee, and turn away the scourges of Thine anger which we deserve for our sins. Almighty and Everlasting God, in whose Hand are the power and the government of every realm: look down upon and help the Christian people that the heathen nations who trust in the fierceness of their own might may be crushed by the power of thine Arm. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. R. Amen.

Now that I leave is when regularly celebrated TLM is offered at Fatima (besudes by the SSPX)? Go figure… It seems that the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate have started a community there. Anyone know anything else about them?
Someone at Rorate Cœli has posted the address but we still don’t know the time. The first Mass (weekly) was on a Saturday in July, but that could be a Saturday afternoon at or after 4.00 p.m., thereby fulfilling the obligation. Does anyone know the time each week? Here is the address:

Yes, I can help with information as I am associated with this beautiful branch of the Franciscans of the Immaculate.

There are 5 friaries in the US-Our Lady, Queen of the Seraphic Order in New Bedford, MA, Our Lady of Guadalupe in Griswold, CT, Our Lady Coredemprix at The Mother of the Redeemer Retreat center in Bloomington, IN, Our Lady, Spouse of hte Holy Spirit in Maine, NY and now also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine in LaCross, WI–the new shrine founded by ARchbishop Raymond Burke.
There are convents in Massachusetts and Indiana in the US for the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate. There is a new foundation of Third Order Sisters and then also the Franciscan Tertiaries of the Immaculate or the Third Order.

here is a vocation video from the order:

It is the desire of the founders that all friaries be able to celebrate the extraordinary form of the Mass and, where needed, renovations are under way for that purpose.
Ave Maria!
Rorate Caeli has an article on Fr. Stefano Manelli our Founder celebrating the Tridentine Mass at our chapel in Fatima, Portugal. The extraordinary form of the Mass will be offered once a week at the chapel which is just a five minute walk from the Basillica.
I wonder whether it’s true — as seemed to be implied in a report about the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate being chosen by Ab. Burke to staff the new Our Lady of Gualalupe Shrine in Wisconsin — that all their novice seminarians are learning the TLM.
The next step is to re-design the new age expansion project that was pushed through by the Monsignor in charge of the shrine. I believe the new age inspired Monsignor was later relieved after allowing Hindu or syncrestic Hindu-Christian ceremonies to held in the shrine.
We now know that these Masses are to be celebrated once per week and that the first one was celebrated on a Saturday in July. Presumably, then, they are celebrated every Saturday.
What we don’t know is whether or not they are celebrated at or after 4.00 p.m., thereby fulfilling the Sunday obligation.
Can anyone out there answer this question: What times are they celebrated every week?

TLM in Fatima
My wife and I spoke with Friar Andre, here in Fatima yesterday, Saturday Nov 15 just before noon. He said that yes there is a TLM at the sisters house at 7pm. Upon returning home we received a call from Brother saying that it is “. . . only a private Mass and that the public could not attend”.
We will continue to look into this, but, at the moment there is no public TLM in Fatima regardless to what information your receiving.
When asked about the TLM many of the Bishops and Priests here in Portugal quickly break out in a rash and start to dance.
