NB: New book in Italian on liturgy

On the Italian site of ZENIT there is a note about a new book, in Italian, concerned with liturgy by Fr. Mauro Gagliardi dal titolo “Liturgia fonte di vita. Prospettive teologiche” (Fede & Cultura) – "Liturgy – source of life: theological perspectives/outlooks.  Fr. Gagliardi is a priest of the Archdiocese of Salerno, ordained in 1999.  He is a consultor for the Office of Pontifical Ceremonies.

A good sign is that the excellent Secretary of the Congregation for Clergy, Archbp. Mauro Piacenza, wrote the preface.

The ZENIT piece includes an interview.  The topic of the TLM comes up as well as the poll indicating that 2 of 3 people would attend the older form of Mass at least once a month if it were made available.

I don’t have time to translate the piece for you now, but perhaps someone will dig into it and I will be able to put up parts of it here for your edification and discussion.
