  1. We had two here in the Philippines. One here in Manila (5.0) on Tuesday and another (a 5.3) in my hometown down South in Davao where my family is just yesterday.

    No one really knows the day or the hour…

    Apparently there was an earthquake where I live, but I didn’t feel it. I guess we in Southern California have come to accept the occasional tremor as part of daily life. But we’re all fearful of the Big One…

    I live in the area of the New Madrid fault, the last earthquake in the 1800s made the Mississippi River run backwards. If it hits again; St. Louis, Memphis and all parts in between would be destroyed.
