An Evil Irony

From the most aggressively pro-abortion president there has ever been… from the man who even backed infanticide in Illinois…

Between just saying what seems “right” for the moment and reading whatever appears on the Teleprompter, I don’t think the man ever thinks about what he says. I really think that if the right people got control of the prompter, he would reaad his resignation on national TV without blinking an eye and smile at the applause at the end.

  2. SKAY says:

If you have no conscience, contradicting your actions with words is no problem. Then you smile as you are saying those written words while laughing inside at those who actually fall for it- knowing the “Pravda” MSM will gladly back you up.
The fact that his Party was trying to rid itself of any mention of Almighty God shold point out where their idiology is trying to take this country.

“I really think that if the right people got control of the prompter, he would reaad his resignation on national TV without blinking an eye and smile at the applause at the end.”

    Wouldn’t that be great?

    Ah, Irony.

  4. acardnal says:

This post reminds me of what I often tell my Obama-supporting friends and family: actions speak louder than words. Obama says, and has said, many seemingly pro-life statements BUT his actions support, engender, foster, facilitate and fund abortion. He is all about the killing of babies.

  5. Facta Non Verba says:

Don’t forget that he wouldn’t want his daughters “punished with a baby” if they “make a mistake.” That was one of those off-teleprompter moments of candidness, when the President accidently reveals what he really believes.

  6. MarkJ says:

When someone is doing the bidding of the father of lies, what do you expect… Truth?

  7. Imrahil says:

Don’t forget that he wouldn’t want his daughters “punished with a baby” if they “make a mistake.”

Besides being revealing, this is also revealing in a second sense. Pro-choicers always, always, get that one wrong.

You are not punished with a baby. Even if that is punishment, you are at worst punished with a pregnancy. There are plenty of wishful adoptive parents out there.

[I leave open whether that’s fulfilling your moral obligations. It is at any rate more so than killing.]

I once actually heard as a pro-choice argument: “But then you can’t emotionally bring yourself to abandon the child.” There you go. Rather kill the baby before you start to get a feeling for him [which, of course, might be there for a reason…]…

Oh Lord, give us some common sense. Oh yes, and some charity as well. Wouldst Thou?

  8. Johnno says:

He was also tooting on and on about the need for religious freedoms and respect for religions…

By that he means Islam… or any religion that is not Christianity.

There is something seriously messed up with the leadership of the United States.

Are many of you here aware of the Skull and Bones group and who belongs to it and what those folks do? Doesn’t it bother American Christians what their leader participate in in secret? Doesn’t it make the connection to pushes for further abortion make more sense in that light and therefore obviously diabolical? Are we not all underestimating our Lord’s words when He said ‘The Prince of Darkness rules this world.’ And by that He wasn’t just talking figuratively but quite literally literally?!

  9. I wonder if he’s ever thought what his daughters would suffer after having the freedom to correct any mistakes? At least they won’t have to worry about paying for it. Good job, Dad.

  10. aragonjohn7 says:

Aggh. Methinks for once he ain’t lying

  11. Sissy says:

Obama uses the word “innocents” in the sense that it is used in radical Islam. The only “innocents” are radical Muslims, therefore, there is no excuse for killing them. All others are fair game.

  12. letchitsa1 says:

Well, considering his support of abortion, I wonder how he defines “innocents”. Maybe that, like life, is earned at the entry to the womb?

  13. jflare says:

“There are no words that excuse the killing of innocents.”

There are no words that express my thoughts at reading this and seeing the picture.

He said this just a few days ago, huh?

    Wow!
    I mean just..WOW!!!!

  14. jflare says:

Just..for the sake of allowing the man a slight chance to redeem himself:
There’s no chance that this..astounding statement..might’ve been taken out of context, but explained very differently in the article? Or maybe he said something rather different in the speech?
    Please??

  15. Jane says:

President Obama, If the cap fits, wear it.
I hope that the people of your country vote you
and your political party out. I wish that the unborn
and newborns had the right to vote.
I have no doubt that their vote would not
    be for you.

  16. Kerry says:

Really…? How ’bout ‘Women’s health’? Or, “Vote for me”?

  17. Scarltherr says:

I sometimes wonder if he is the anti-Christ or simply the ‘Mouth of Sauron.” This is a ‘Mouth of Sauron’ example.

  18. LisaP. says:

    Johnno, that’s an interesting link.
It’s funny what goes on back stage. . . .

Coming from the biggest joke alive! HE is the evil irony.

  21. MKR says:

I think he meant “There are no words that excuse the killing of innocents whom I care about.”

  22. Venerator Sti Lot says:

Barry Rubin interestingly looks at different examples to similar purpose:

“the fact that his policy has supported militantly anti-democratic groups far more than the (far weaker) moderate ones is airbrushed away”

    and

“Obama hit some of the right notes. The problem is the isolation of this soaring rhetoric from his actual policies”

and (quoting) ” ‘ Today, we must declare that this violence and intolerance has no place among our United Nations.’

    That passage is unintentionally funny.

For decades, violence and intolerance have been central at the UN, and this will continue to be true. Indeed, the Obama administration has supported many of these forces of violence and intolerance, and in other cases not stood up to them. After all, the minister of railroads in Pakistan, a country which has received billions in aid from the Obama administration, has just offered a reward for murdering an American citizen without fear of any consequences for his regime. Amidst a thousand other examples, that gives a sense of the reality of the contemporary situation compared to Obama’s rhetoric”

    and

“Nor has his government really done anything material to protect the rights of women and Christians in the Middle East. When he says, “Those are the men and women that America stands with; theirs is the vision we will support,” it has no relationship with reality.

    For example, Obama said:

Together, we must stand with those Syrians who believe in a different vision — a Syria that is united and inclusive; where children don’t need to fear their own government, and all Syrians have a say in how they are governed — Sunnis and Alawites; Kurds and Christians. That is what America stands for; that is the outcome that we will work for.

Meanwhile, his government is overseeing programs that distribute arms to either the Muslim Brotherhood or the Salafists. It organized a Syrian opposition council dominated by the Brotherhood. It is guaranteeing a Syria in which Alawites and Christians will be massacred; in which Kurds will face an assault on their region; and which will not be united, inclusive, or non-scary for children.”

  23. tonyfernandez says:

The guy has used drone attacks more than any other president. Sure, they’re “targeted” attacks, but innocents get killed in them all the time, and they are callously brushed aside as “collateral damage”. The empire is shameless!
