I will subtitle this entry: Buy Some Cards – Help A Monastery.
I recently received some spiffy cards with vesting prayers for bishops, priests, deacons and subdeacons.
They were produced by the…
Monastère Saint-Benoît

The cards are:
You can order them online HERE.
Every sacristy should have cards like these, tucked away in the proper cupboard along side the altar cards or charts, the copies of the 1962 Missal and Pontifical and Ritual… etc.
But Father, as the priest said from the Sunday ambo “I don’t know Latin, I didn’t learn Latin, don’t expect me to start saying Mass in Latin”. This came just before the introduction of the new Missal at Advent 2011. And he is a priest ordained about 12 years ago from Mundelein, age mid-30s. What to do? [Prayers and fasting and the Bux Protocol.]
That’s odd coming from a Mundelein grad…. [Is it? I wonder.]

…..or not.
Searching WDTPRS, I found the Bux Protocol. I will pray to Saint Joseph.
Could be why they put Fr. Barron in charge…either way, my parish priest come from St. Patrick’s in Menlo Park and there’s nothing in error he does…he actually is rumored to be Bishop.
Why would you tuck those away in the cupboard where they won’t be seen, thus not used. Maybe I’m just weird, but I need to actually see something to use it regularly.
Is there any reason not to use these before all masses whether OF or EF?
