Registrations – UPDATE

Friends, I have been on a break. I’ll get to registrations soon.

UPDATE 3 May:

I have had terrible internet while at this hotel in Venice and I really can’t handle many registrations from my phone.

Furthermore, for some reason my registration email alerts have been going into spam.  I think I have worked that out now.

I have dozens of registrations to get through.  I will peck away at them.  For the time being I switched off registration so that I can catch up.

As you can imagine, I don’t want to be sitting at a computer all day in Venice doing registrations.

UPDATE: 5 May

Whew! I have worked my way through the registration queue as best I could.

If you had registered over the last couple weeks and nothing seemed to happen, you might try to log in again.

Otherwise, if it doesn’t work for some reason, please consider registering again.

The registration process is a necessary evil, I’m afraid.  I have to have a way to weed out spammers and kooks.  That field in the registration form where I ask you something about yourself is really important.  Putting something really Catholic in that field (what your diocese is, who your bishop is, your confirmation name, stuff like that) immediately tells me that you are not a chain-smoking Chinese spammer named Wang sitting in an internet cafe in Kowloon.

A latte at Caffe Florian and a laptop? It’s tough work, but someone has to do it, right, Father?
