Holy League

There is a new initiative which you should know about.   My friend Fr. Richard Heilman is involved, as is His Eminence Raymond Leo Card. Burke.

For more information you can also text keyword EPIC to 84576 (I think that might be only for these USA).

I signed up last week. If anyone reading this is from Rhode Island, let’s connect!

If Cardinal Burke is involved, I’m interested, period.

Deo Gratias! I am so happy to see this manly call to men. I am going to forward this to my pastor.

Fr. Z, is that you assisting Cardinal Burke at the alter? [altar… and, yes, I was subdeacon for a Mass His Eminence celebrated in Rome not too long ago.]

Like the photo of Fr. Z at Mass with Cardinal Burke. Signed-up. I have been thinking about doing something for the men of my parish and this seems like a great start.

Our parish men were told about this last weekend’s Mass. It would be interesting to see what kind of participation each state has across the US with this.

    Gads!
Couldn’t they come up with a better name? It sounds like a Saturday morning cartoon show. At best, it sounds like goofy, fringe-y, traddies . I’m sure it’s all good, but geez, the name, I just can’t get over the name.

  9. Curley says:

I don’t have a problem with the name, but I can see how the same people hyperventilating into paper bags about the term “church militant” will start getting sweaty palms. Then again, I don’t think the average catholic has a clue about the historical holy league.

“It sounds like a Saturday morning cartoon show.”
    Aaaaand what’s wrong with that?
