It all looks so good, especially the soup dumplings! Have a safe trip to Rome, Father!
Love the tonkotsu ramen …. But kinton doesn’t have that sadly in toronto.
Can’t wait to see what tidbits of info you get with the end of the Synod.
Father Z, how do you never have a spittle flecked nutty? My husband never has spittle flecked nutties either and it drives me rather crazy but probably keeps me sane too. Have a great trip!
Where does one get good ramen, and what brands to look for?
Sadly, looks like the Cubs are going, home.
Good ramen has no brand – it’s all hand made. Having said that, it is possible to get at least decent branded ramen. Try searching “Nissan Raoh ramen” or “Maruchan Seimen ramen” on amazon. I keep that in my cabinet here in Japan, and it’s the best thing I’ve found outside of the real deal.
Nissin, not Nissan. Stupid autocorrect.
If there is no good ramen brand, is there a guide to making it at home? Or is it the sort of thing one must experience from the experts before one knows what one is shooting for in one’s own attempts?
Except for the lovely little Fortune Cookie, this confirms my suspicion that you are a barbarian . . . possibly a Klingon. : – )
