Prayers for His Hermeneuticalness, Fr. Finigan

My good friend Fr. Tim Finigan, His Hermeneuticalness, the PP in Margate, is presently in the hospital. HERE

In your kindness will you remember him in your prayers? Say a Rosary for him.

    I sympathize.
I just got out of the hospital, myself, on December 8th, being admitted on December 1st.
It’s quite the place to evangelize.
People feel sorry for you, so they don’t talk back and listen.
It’s amazing what people don’t know about the Faith. (including some Catholics)
I hope I left some people thinking.
Most of the Protestants that came around were ex-Catholics.
I was able to say my prayers (mostly rosaries) in peace and tranquility.
It’s really not too bad, except they come poking your arm in the middle of the night.
Now I’ve got doctor visits and more tests to be run.

I will certainly say a rosary for him.
I hope his menu is more agreeable than mine was.
Some of the food I requested was “you can’t have this, you can’t have that.”
I didn’t realize I was that sick when they sent me there, but I’m still here.

I’ve always enjoyed his insightful British wit which obviously has not failed & now unto the stiff upper lip.
    Rosary begins in 5 minutes.

Prayers, indeed, Fr, being offered for Fr Finigan’s swift return to good health.

I offered my prayers. I will make sure to follow his progress on his blog: very entertaining. Fr. Finigan seems to be a very “patient patient”! As a fellow addict to instruction manuals of all sorts of gadgets – and as someone carefully monitoring my blood pressure twice a day – I wish Fr. Finigan a speed recovery and a good time with Mindray’s Data trio. But before proceeding with the declared plans to “root the Mindray, re-boot it with Linux Mint and load films on it”, pay heed to Caution #2 on page vii…
