    Ah Napoli and Vesuvio! I remember thee well as a Lt Colonel working for NATO in 2001-2004. Naples is said to be like a beautiful woman with dirty feet. How true! The city, while having some beautiful sights, is often crammed with cars (six lanes of traffic on three lanes of Tangenziale). Scooters everywhere and cacophony reigns. Garbage piled high, particularly when there is a sanitation strike. Then there is the sight of Mt. Vesuvius. Very beautiful any time of the year! Thanks for bringing back some fond memories Father Z. I’ll think on this as we light our advent wreath tonight by our presepe from Napoli!
