Because of the Black’s imminent threats against the White king, the first move must be a “+.” That’s easy enough, and so is the rest:

    1. R-c8+ Bxc8 (forced)
    2. R-e8#

  2. David L. says:

    1. Rc8+ followed by 2. Re8#.

  3. Oliveira says:

    My try is:

    1. Rc8 Bxc8
    2. Re8#

P.S.: Imagine what would have happened if it was Benedict XVI having that “situation” with that lady (slap her hand).

    1. Rc8+ bxc8
    2. Re8#
