I voted for 5 minutes Father – thank you in advance of you do it again this year!

    Father,
I look forward to more AdventCasts, as well as LentCasts.
However, I have to say that you were such a fine proponent of Fr. Troadec’s work that I have include his daily reflections as a part of my routine. I am considering adding the newer reflections based on the sanctoral cycle rather than the liturgical cycle as well.

Forgive me, Father… For I have voted for 10-minute podcasts one time.

I too purchased Fr. Troadec’s books and find them inspiring and I also enjoy the podcasts here very much. They are a good balance of meditation, scripture and music.
Five minutes is just enough first thing in the morning to savor spiritually with my coffee. Thank you Fr Z for offering the, again!

  5. MitisVis says:

I apologize Father but in my own lazy way have come to rely on your AdventCasts and your LentCasts to center my days for the seasons. I know how much work you put into them and it is Greatly appreciated and a huge blessing to all of us

  6. grateful says:

Perhaps I don’t understand the reasoning behind the 5- 10 minutes.
Depending upon the subject matter, make them as long or short as they merit.

  7. Akita says:

    Father,

Both your five minute Advent podcasts and the Novena of St Andrew illuminate the lengthening shadows of December and make my winter world brighter. They are more lovely than chestnuts roasting on an open fire, or warm woolen mittens , or whiskers on kittens, or Pope Benedict in a Santa hat, or balsam boughs, or a fresh Panettone. Thank you for your spiritual care of your readership.

  8. PostCatholic says:

I’ve reviewed your AdventcaZt on Gaudete Sunday (among other sources) when preparing a sermon on ‘anticipatory joy.’ They were very helpful. Either length is good; do what you feel limits you least and brings you the most satisfaction.

  9. mo7 says:

I said 5 minutes, because I’ll take whatever you offer, 10 is good too. TIA

  10. Paul M says:

I love both ADVENTCAzTs & LENTCAzTs and they have both become an important part of each respective season for me. I love being able to share nuggets with my family.
Whatever length is best for you, Father. A hearty “THANK YOU” for these wonderful lessons and for all that you do.

  11. Ms. M-S says:

Fr. Z, I’ve been trying to cast my vote for continued podcasts for several days now, but an almost comedic series of interruptions has prevented it. It’s not “the Devil made me do it” but rather “the Devil doesn’t want Fr. Z to do it.”
