Note on the entry about the Josephinum

CATEGORY: SESSIUNCULUM — Fr. John Zuhlsdorf @ 2:29 am

Seldom have entries on this blog stirred emotions and produced e-mail as did what I wrote about reports coming from the Pontifical College Josephinum.

Since I have scores of e-mails on this issue in my inbox which I cannot possibly read today, since I am flying back to the USA from the UK, I have removed that controversial entry from public view.

I need to read the mails and get my head around what is being said to me.

In the meantime, I trust people will relax a little.

A note to the seminarians there: Be quite, and be good, work hard, and don’t be stupid.

    Fr. Z on the move

CATEGORY: SESSIUNCULUM — Fr. John Zuhlsdorf @ 2:23 am

This morning I head to the airport to fly back to the USA.   I won’t have a lot of time when I change planes after customs, so I am unsure about getting online until… well… late.

I have a lot of really interesting e-mail in my mailbox this morning.  Thanks.  Please know that I will read it with interest.

Also, a couple more kind souls have used the donation button on the left side bar.  I am very grateful.  This makes my life a great deal less complicated, I can assure you.

My time in the UK, and Rome, has been very rewarding.  I met many very good people associated with the movement around the older form of Mass. I had a chance to speak to a fine group of priests about the Motu Proprio.  The clergy I have met are exceptional men.

This has been an enlightening experience.  To those of you whom I met in the UK reading this, I send greetings and thanks.
