URGENT PRAYER REQUEST: Fr. Richard John Neuhaus

Please pray for Fr. Richard John Neuhaus, who is close to death.

Fr. Neuhaus, a priest of the Archdiocese of New York, is a convert from Lutheranism, an author of great insight and edition of First Things.

Father has developed an infection while battling cancer.  He received last rites from Fr. George Ruttler.

In your kindness pray for him.  The Enemy attacks priests.

  1. RJM says:

Almighty and Everlasting God, preserver of souls, who dost correct those whom Thou dost love, and for their betterment dost tenderly chastise those whom Thou dost receive, we call upon Thee, O Lord, to grant Thy healing, that the soul of Thy servant, at the hour of its departure from the body, may by the hands of Thy holy Angels be presented without spot unto Thee. Amen.

Go forth, O Christian soul, out of this world, in the Name of God the Father almighty, Who created you; in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, Who suffered for you; in the Name of the Holy Ghost, Who sanctified you…

May this holy priest, our Blessed Lord’s will being done, soon hear from his Master, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

  12. We will always be grateful for Fr. Neuhaus’ faithful service to our beloved faith. His commentary when Pope Benedict visited the USA in April endures as a witness of Fr. Richard’s gift for humily, humor, and his brilliant contributions in turning the mystery of love into words the ordinary man yearns for. Under the mercy, Dave Dowd
