YES!! THIS IS OURS!! The FSSP serves our church in Phoenix and I spotted two of the four seminarians from our little parish in this video. We were there in Nebraska to see our first seminarian become a priest last fall, and the acoustics for choral music in that church are beyond gorgeous. Blessed be God for your posting this, Father Z! THIS IS SO GOOD!
I’m hoping that religious communities that are struggling for vocations will watch this video.

When the Gross Transmogrification of 1965 began, I lamented most the loss of the Requiem Mass … its high solemnity, and its chants. Although only in my mid-teens then, I despaired of its return. It disappeared overnight, and I knew not then that the SSPX would form to preserve such beauty from willful extermination through many dark years when Tradition was unfashionable.
I have put this on pre-order, but I was disappointed that there was no DVD of the Requiem Mass also available.

Several years ago, shortly after the FSSP started an oratory near my home, I went to the All Souls mass in which the Priest wore black vestments.
I came out afterward an found an 82 year old man, that I had met there at mass a few weeks before, crying. I asked him if everything was OK. He said, “I haven’t seen a priest in black vestments in over 50 years. I thought I never would again in this life.”
@Eric, that is a sad and telling sign of what has happened in the last 50 years. I’m only 25 and had never seen black vestments in my life until I started attending the Ordinariate parish I now call home. I was being trained to serve at the altar again and my second Mass serving was a sung requiem Mass according to our Missal for All Souls. It was really hard to not cry in both sadness and joy at its beauty and power. The restoration of the Requiem Mass would bring untold benefits to the faithful.
