The order of the Moon and of the stars

Thus saith the Lord, who giveth the sun for the light of the day, the order of the moon and of the stars, for the light of the night: who stirreth up the sea, and the waves thereof roar, the Lord of hosts is his name. – Jeremiah 31:35

  1. That was amazing. I have never seen anything like that.

  2. pm125 says:

At Daily Mass today (amid the news which weighs heavily), just barely saying, … We lift them up to the Lord. … which brings me to say that this entry to wdtprs w/ music playing made for a sort of rousing change in this day.
    – and the Ps. 145 we prayed, happened here:
    R. Your friends make known, O Lord, the glorious splendor of Your Kingdom.

  3. Diane at Te Deum Laudamus says:

I have followed the work of Dustin Farrell for a couple of years now. He is known for his time lapsed landscape videos. He does some other fascinating visuals. He’s on Twitter so when something new comes out you can see it. Look at the “Landscapes” series from his Vimeo page.

I’m glad to have seen this video here which shows how that odd movement effect is achieved. We know the sky is “moving”, but I didn’t understand how the camera was moving so smoothly. Now we know.

  4. Father K says:

“The fool has said in his heart, ‘there is no God above.'” Psalm 13.

Better with the music turned off.
