Beautiful! Going to order it!
Ooohh, yesss!!! The sample includes the Regina Coeli by Aichinger, which I love as it’s a regular in my church choir for Eastertide. So I’ll definitely order this. And what beautiful quality of singing and enunciation – something my church choir by no means gets all the time ;)
Do you have a Europe(euro) link other than UK that you get credit on?
The reverend gentleman on the left in this picture appears not to be using the requisite amice. Leaving aside any consideration of personal culpability, as we must, is that a mortal or a venial fault? Would the use of the amice make more available to him the fruits of the Mass? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
I think he is wearing an amice but it was poorly put on and has thus slipped down wear it crossed over. If you zoom in you can see how it is bunched up.
I presume the server on the left is not actually wearing a cope but whatever you call the garment for holding a bishop’s mitre or crozier.
Thanks, Blaise, I’m relieved. Oh, I believe the word you’ve got on the tip of your tongue is vimpa.
Happy belated wishes for your name day!
Oh, wonderful! One for me, one to give away.
Thank you for the photos. The joy radiating from all faces is almost palpable. Just from the
pictures, you can get a feeling for the solemnity and symbolism of the ceremony.
A couple of those priests look oddly familiar…
Vimpa? Learn something new everyday. Thanks! I was wondering, too.
Their joy and beauty are contagious…so much is communicated! From the audio to the visuals- thanks for sharing Fr. Z can’t wait for it to come out!
These photos are magnificent and beautiful, and what joy on their faces! This really makes my day. Tradition is ALIVE and well and Our Divine Master is glorified through these lovely ladies.
