Happy Easter, dear Father!
A very Happy Easter, Fr Z! I hope the Easter season will bring some rest and relaxation for you.
That handwriting is beautiful. My 7 and 10 year olds have been trying out writing with quills and ink, it inspired me to try too; a bit tricky but it feels great! One of them wants to try with a feather now!
Ein Gesegnete und Frohe Ostern from the Tirol to Father Z. and all readers of this splendid Blog!
復活節快樂!
(Happy Easter!)
Yes, what gorgeous penmanship, an art we are losing! A very happy and blessed Easter to you, Father Z! I love Easter, but mainly Holy Thursday Mass and the Good Friday service. When the Eucharist was processed on Thurs. and taken to the altar of repose, it was as though Jesus walked by. The beauty is in the solemnity of both days for me, that solemnity which is so rare these days (for those of us at N.O. Masses).
Felices Pascuas, Padre Zuhlsdorf. Que Dios le pague su servicio a la Iglesia.
The card is beautiful, but so is the hand of a Catholic Priest! Happy Easter Father Z.
Hope you had an awesome blessed Easter, Father Z. Calligraphy is beautiful.
With most people using techie ways to communicate these days, good handwriting has gone by the wayside. That is too bad. I remember the nuns back in 8th grade walking around checking our handwriting with a vengeance. I did not like it then but now, I realize it is a type of discipline. Neatness and organization is often hard to find anymore! It takes practice.
Today I went into DC to view the Mary exhibit at the newish Woman’s Museum. It was excellent and I recommend it to anyone who can go. Mercy Sunday is the last day for it.
God bless everyone!
