Wonderful! The body language is soooooo expressive!

Does anyone have an estimate on her age? I thought she was very young (2 to 3) to start (she is not very tall), but her command of language is quite good so I pushed it to at least 4. Is that still too low?

  13. ChiaraDiAssisi says:

You were not the only one who thought her command of languahe was exceptional for such a young age. She does not look over three.

This is hilarious! She may well be 2 or 3, especially if she has older siblings or lives in a multi-generational household… the drama and gestures sure remind me of my Italian friends’ “nonnas ” and “nonnis” when I was growing-up! Girls certainly seem to master both the spoken word and non-verbal communication earlier than boys… three of our sons uttered barely more than “mama”, “dada”, “gimme”, and of course “no!” until they had surpassed 18mos., but our only daughter spoke very intelligibly and was able to carry on real conversations at 13 mos. Alas, no gestures or gesticulations, but by the time she was 3 she could switch from her mother’s non-accented speech to an impression of my Boston “accent”!

I hear that this young lady is now auditioning for The Female Lead in the proposed new GODFATHER (PART FOUR) Movie !!!
