A reaction to the “Lift Off” from North Carolina

A reader from North Carolina sends a note:

Dear Friends of the Mass in the Extraordinary Form in North Carolina

Below the decree lifting the excommunication of the SSPX bishops.  The is an occasion for rejoicing!  We have prayed for this, and our prayers have been heard.  Now let us do three things:

1. Pray for the full reconciliation and union with the SSPX;

2. Reach out and thank our SSPX brothers and sisters  (Many of us know how much they have stepped forward and helped us with our Mass at Davis Chapel, right from the beginning, 04 x. 2007, and how they continue to support and help other local MEFs that are current);  and

3. Be so grateful to Holy Father!

Other news:  The first Vigil of the Month MEF at St. Ann Charlotte, which satisfies the Sunday obligation, will not take place Saturday, 31 Jan, but rather Saturday, 07 Feb., at 630pm. This per the secretary at St. Ann via telephone.

We can never forget this. Also, thank you Father Weber,Father Kowalski,Father Reid, Father Ferguson,Father Davis, and all those not known for their efforts in promoting the TLM.
