Love these pictures of your little sparklers. The Mr.’s red-throat looks like its glowing. They must like what you are serving. I recently watched one of them on your birdy-cam and she stayed at the feeder for at least a minute, almost 2. She drank and drank and looked about and drank some more and just hung out. I’m glad you have lots of them. I’ve been keeping an eye out, even with feeder ready, I haven’t seen any coming by. I did see one or 2 zip by, but they haven’t been visiting my feeder with the same regularity as in years past. Thanks for posting the Hummerz.
Awesome pics! Next to Eagles and Falcons Humming Birds are by far my favs! The amount of nectar they require just to keep operating is astounding; plus, they are so graceful and adroit in space! They’re almost bug-like in their quickness, but clearly a bird!
I fought a wildfire ten years ago, and the humming bird feeders were teeming, despite us being there; they were thirsting, big-time. They are graceful, unbelievably quick, and alert little fellows!

None of the pictures on this site ever work for me… Is there a trick to seeing them?
I was blessed to have a Purple Throated Woodstar visit my feeder. I have never seen one around here in North Texas. He is fast and hits that feeder quick. I hope to get a picture of him one day.
Father, We counted five last evening at our two feeders in front of the house. I have them set up where we can see them without going outside. It was 96 here yesterday.
I call hummingbirds the ‘jewels’ of the birdie world!
They’re such fast little things-you have to look real quick!

I love humming birds. Unfortunately due to the orientation of our house and the woods in the back there is no place to put a feeder.
