The First Gay President invites homosexual activists to White House. What could possibly go wrong?

So, The First Gay President invites some homosexual activists to the White House.

What could possibly go wrong?

I saw this at The Weekly Standard:

Activists Take Out Frustration on … Ronald Reagan

Victor Fiorillo reports for Phillymag.com:

Last Friday, an attaché of important gay people from Philadelphia [that, friends, is great writing…] made a trip to Washington D.C. as invited guests of President Barack Obama for the White House’s first-ever gay pride reception. There, they danced to the sounds of a Marine Corps band; [How weird is that?] they dined on crab cakes and canapés; [The mind reels with possible comments.] they hand-delivered letters from concerned citizens like this 18-year old who has had four people close to him gunned down, and noted rhyming raconteur CA Conrad; and some of them took advantage of photo opportunities to give the late President Ronald Reagan the middle finger. [Because that’s how they show respect for our country.]

Different people, different angles… and let’s get Pres. Bush in there too.

Classy company our First Gay President keeps, no?

Is that Newsweek cover real? Oh boy…!

  2. Clinton R. says:

I wonder if one of these “important gay people” includes Obama’s good friend Larry Sinclair?

  3. Supertradmum says:

I think there is a reference to this sort of thing…Matthew 11:23; “And thou Capharnaum, shalt thou be exalted up to heaven? thou shalt go down even unto hell. For if in Sodom had been wrought the miracles that have been wrought in thee, perhaps it had remained unto this day.” Scary people, scary future, scary eternity….

But, those who have their crab-cakes now, will be reaching out of the void towards us little old Lazarus types, who are eating crackers and coffee for dinner…and trying to be good…sigh, they just don’t get it…

  4. asophist says:

This report has to be some kind of parody, right? NO??? If I and my house had just landed in Oz, it wouldn’t seem weird compared to this! (Parce nobis, Domine!)

  5. BillyHW says:

    Classy people.

  6. acardnal says:

What a sacrilege putting a halo over his head. He has no problem with homosexuals marrying one another even though they can’t procreate. But babies don’t matter to him after all since he has authorized the use of taxpayer funds for the killing of million of children worldwide in their mother’s wombs.

  7. Suburbanbanshee says:

On the bright side, this shows that the activists don’t really believe their hype/insults about those of our presidents whom they have claimed for their number.

  8. Suburbanbanshee says:

(Because otherwise they’d’ve had their picture taken with such people as they’ve named, I meant.)

Sigh. So many beautiful pictures that you could take at the White House, if your real motivation were extreme liberalism or justice or liberty for the oppressed. But clearly this isn’t the case.

  9. tealady24 says:

BO (apropos isn’t it?) invited them there, so they could do what they did in his name. Who does he think he’s kidding?

  10. poohbear says:

He is a disgrace to this country. He needs to be impeached and then deported. Hopefully in November we will wake up and find the last 4 years were just a bad dream.

  11. Chatto says:

My friends and I like to play the “collective noun” game, where we come up with collective nouns for things don’t really have them – a lounge of teenagers, a storm of teacups, that sort of thing. “An attaché of important gay people…”? We have a winner!

  12. dominic1955 says:

That’s what I was thinking-what classy folks! What does it say about our country when morons like those people are our “elites”. The Empire is definitely in decline. When whatever “barbarians” come for the coup d’grace our “leaders” will be checked out in the banquets and bath houses.

  13. Gregg the Obscure says:

I find Reagan’s record re catamites and sodomites highly disappointing for the opposite reason. He should have issued a blanket quarantine order on them in late 1982 or early 1983, releasing only those who gave credible evidence that they would not willingly participate in acts likely to transmit HIV. Instead he capitulated to their demands, perhaps because of his association with so many of them in the entertainment business. Even so, he deserves at least some respect for his office.

  14. Kathleen10 says:

As long as they brought their CHECKBOOKS….

Gay people tend to be monetarily successful and well paid, so they have much moolah to donate to a president who has put them first.
I agree with the comment that waking up in November (if I can sleep at all) to find this bad dream over will be better than great. We don’t deserve it but asking God for that seems a worthwhile endeavor. Come on November!

  15. Bob B. says:

    No class, either way.
One can’t help but notice that Chen Guangcheng still hasn’t been invited to the White House (or maybe he has and decided against it) though these people have.

  16. EXCHIEF says:

You will be known by the company you keep….thus, both the gays and the gay president are and will be known as classless jerks.

  17. Michael_Thoma says:

Unfortunately, we have no alternatives left in this country.

I would argue our first gay president was Dick Cheney. Obama just followed suit.

  18. DisturbedMary says:

We got here because of the sins against life.

  19. AnnAsher says:

Drat! I’ve misplaced my invitation for the Proliferous Hetero Pride Reception. Sigh.

  20. Traductora says:

Pathetic. And they think they’re soooo coooool.

Obama has debased the office of President and the environment of the White House to an unprecedented level. Even Bill Clinton, with his out of control personal life and his penchant for renting the Lincoln Bedroom to donors, seemed to realize that he had to maintain at least some semblance of honor.

Obama honestly doesn’t care and neither do his followers. This wouldn’t be such a problem if most of his followers were not the members of the mass media, but unfortunately, as such, they’re in a position to spread their poison. And they’re doing it quite diligently.

  21. Burke says:

For the sake of clarity, the chap in the middle photo standing under Pres Bush’s portrait seems to be giving a ‘thumbs up’ …

  22. Kerry says:

What a sad spectacle, the mixed up being used by the occupier of the White House as tools for votes.

  23. irishgirl says:

This is pathetic, this ‘gathering at the White House.’
Obama has dishonored the office (as well as the presidential residence) by inviting perverts.
@ poohbear: Right you are! I hope-and I especially pray-that Americans wake up come November and vote this guy out on his keister! And all his other minions with him! They are the spawn of the Evil One!
I am tired of hearing about homosexual ‘activists’ and their plan to pervert the meaning of marriage and family. I am tired of their shoving their evil agendas down our throats. And I’m tired of this man who calls himself our president-and I’m even more mad that over 50 percent of CATHOLICS voted for him in 2008! Well, we see what we have wrought…
It makes me wish that God would smite this country BIG TIME in order to make us WAKE UP! We disregard His Laws at our peril! We will end up like Imperial Rome if we continue with the way we’re going now….
Okay, end of rant….as one of my good Catholic friends often says, ‘Come, Lord…please come soon…’

  24. jessicahoff says:

Can you imagine the full the MSM would be making if Republicans had done this in front of a portrait of Slick Willy?

  25. The Cobbler says:

“Gay people tend to be monetarily successful and well paid, so they have much moolah to donate to a president who has put them first.”
I doubt that; but I wouldn’t be surprised if those who not only have homosexual inclinations but think everyone should support them in following said urges are disproportionately represented among the rich and powerful (which is to say, if the percentage of rich and successful who are “gay” was greater than the percentage of the population in general thereof).

  26. Angie Mcs says:

I remember when Aids first appeared in the media, Kaposis sarcoma, the mysterious rash which was appearing it seems, in highest proportions in the gay community. These very sick gay people were suffering terribly and it was alarming to see anyone waste away as painfully and quickly as they did. The medical community also made a quick connection between contracting this disease and the lifestyle associated with it, rampant casual sex, going to public bath houses, having multiple sexual partners, even in the same night. It a long time for people to stop these behaviors, far too long. Instead, the protests started, the angry demonstrations against the government that because the victims were homosexual, the medical community was doing nothing to help. Yet I believe that the medical community was working in full gear trying to find something. Nobody wanted this horrible disease to spread, to gays or straights. There was so much fear and so much pressure to find a solution, any solution. I csnt understand why anyone would criticize President Reagan for holding back on this- I was amazed, considering how slowly the FDA works, that some kind of “cocktail” was found relatively quickly to slow down the death rate. Am I missing Somsthing or incorrect in how Inremember this? In the long run, is it even all that vital, considering this past week’s events?

We now have certain activists being invited to the White House by our current President. Although he is not responsible for every gesture that people make while they are there, he should know whom he is inviting. He also sets the tone for the evening. It brings me to tears to see people flipping the bird at President Reagan, who deserves the respect of his office. These nasty people were rebuked, but they should have been escorted out of the building. Obama could have made it very clear that that kind of behavior is not tolerated, that a certain modicum of respect is still expected. This is MY White House, as it is ALL of ours. Obama inhabits it by OUR permission, and as such, he should consider how it is treated by the people he brings into it. My only consolation/hope is that these gay activists have made enough Americans angry that they will express their feelings at the polls in November.

  27. poorlady says:

We threw God out of our schools. We stopped saying the title of “Mr.” or “Mrs.” when addressing our elders. We stopped rising from our seat when an elderly person or a woman entered the room. We became gradually more accepting of rude behavior. Children are allowed to speak back to their parents. “Respect” ? What is that?
I hope President Obama does get voted out.

  28. frjim4321 says:

Well since the rnc refuses (yet again) to put forth aa viable alternative it is safe to assume that President Obama wil indeed serve for four more years.

  29. irishgirl says:

@frjim: No way, no how! I don’t want to see Obama reelected for four more years!
I’m still angry at the fact that OVER FIFTY PERCENT OF CATHOLICS voted for this guy in 2008!
Where were their brains, their common sense? Certainly not in the voting booth….
This guy needs to be voted OUT come November!
And Catholics better wake up, smell the coffee-and DO IT! Get him out! And all his evil minions with him!

  30. wmeyer says:

irishgirl, I know of one bishop (not mine) who says he can’t decide which way to vote. Scandalous.
