Castra moventur.
That shot just about sums up preparation for the transfer to a new statio.
And here’s a statio on the way to the statio. A nice outdoor lunch.
With hedges of blooming jasmine.
Some lavender.
And even artichokes.
Homemade pasta and eggplant and caccioricotta.
Some grilled veggies. This food is soooo easy and so easy on you.
Granita di limone.
And off we go again… WESTWARD!
That photo just about sums it up.
I hope you are feeling better.
Thanks. The antibiotics continue. I decided also that an eye infection would be a good idea, just to keep the other critters on their toes and at maximum annoyance potential.
I believe the coral-pink flower is a camellia. Which I love. They don’t grow around here in IL, but they did great at my childhood home in NC. They remind me of my mom. :)
I have a bad cold myself at present, nose running in the intervals when it’s not semi-blocked, coughing – but, Lord, I can almost small that foliage!! Not to mention the food. Spirit-raising. Thanks, Fr., and best wishes for your continued improvement.
Antibiotics, what a great invention, thank God for them. The photos are lovely.
Geez, Fr. Z – the back of that van looks like you’re getting ready for Field Day!
Aren’t artichokes lovely? You almost hate cutting them, they are so beautiful…
