ASK FATHER: Coalition in Support of “Ecclessia Dei” – What’s up?

From a reader…

QUAERITUR:

Several weeks ago, I noticed that attempts to access the TLM directory at the Coalition in support of Ecclessia Dei website, were coming up with nothing. I dismissed it as a server error, but it has persisted, and my searching has given me no explanation.

Do you have any insight? If not, do you know of an alternative directory, that is kept up to date?

As always, thank you for your good work.

So, folks.  What’s up with this?

Anyone know what’s going on?

Possibly they have not given their hosting service required information. My attempt to find them threw up this preliminary message
“Since January 2014, all ICANN accredited registrars (like Namecheap) have been required to verify the contact information (Registrant Whois) of customers registering domain names. This includes modifications to the contact details.”
and then some stuff ending “did you get our email?”

The site now shows a notice that the owner has to respond to a Whois verification email. This is a periodic housekeeping exercise for website owners to maintain contact and ownership information.

We apologize. Those responsible for the aforementioned sacking have now, themselves, been sacked.

I noticed this also a few weeks back. For a little bit after the ecclesiadei.org went down there was another site with the same content (though slightly outdated) at http://atecwebdev.com/ecclesia/, nut now even that’s down, so I’m not sure what’s going on. I did notice that they had stopped updating the Mass list as of May 2018, so maybe something happened with the owner?
There is however, a current listing of TLMs at https://www.latinmassdir.org/ that seems to be up to date.

For Australians our directory can be found at this great site – lmsaus.org

Be careful going to the ecclesiadei.org site.
When I attempted to check it out, I got this message from one of my anti-virus/malware applications: Website blocked due to a Trojan.
Looks like they might be under some sort of attack.

“We apologize.” Marvelous. Hail, fellow Circus fan!
