What do Episcopalians really say?

I ask you….

Reluctant biretta tip to Whitehall for this unfortunate graphic.  o{]:¬(

How those of that communion, trying to be well-meaning and faithful to what they know, must suffer.

I have a solution for them.

  1. Geoffrey says:

    Is that real?!

I saw a picture of that woman wearing a mitre once… made me rather ill!

  2. Jordan Potter says:

The photo is real, but the accompanying text is a spoof. A very funny spoof too.

  3. RBrown says:

A few years ago I saw a picture of “Bishop” Penny Jamieson, the first female Anglican regional manager. With her hair sticking out from her mitre, she reminded me of a witch.

Double double toil and trouble. Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

  4. Jeffrey Stuart says:

There are two sides to this. On one hand I really do pity Ms. Schori and others in that camp. On the other hand, I believe statements such as hers are useful and serve to illuminate the nonsense that they really profess and with His grace may bring some of the truly faithful back home where they belong.

  5. I’m glad you all appreciated the poster (though I can’t take credit for having come up with it).

“…those of that communion, trying to be… faithful…”

Much of my ministry at this point is showing Episcopalians to the life rafts.
