The best of both worlds

Here is the view from my window tonight:
View from my window this evening.
However, I am still in touch with the Sabine Farm via webcam when I need a fix.
Here is the view I would be seeing from my desk.

That is a big crane in the background of the Rome picture!

  2. Dear Father Z:
Picture A, darkened of the brilliant light of daily grace
represents the pale view of a soul attending a Novus Ordo Missae,
while picture B projects the brilliant holiness and
awareness of true sacrifice emanating from the soul of one
present at a Missa Latina Tridentina! Do we really realize
and understand the significant differences in these two
forms of worship as orthodox Roman Catholics or our these
desires of this Mass of the Ages mere fixations of a
    nostalgic past?

  3. Dan Hunter says:

The crane is going to be used by Pope Benedict to hoist up the giant banner which reads,”cLASSICAL RITE FOR EVERYONE!”
    But written in Latin.
    God bless you.

  4. michigancatholic says:

That’s funny, because I look at your pictures of Rome to get a fix. I’m currently sitting in the middle of what looks like the north pole here in Michigan. Double digit inches of snow, double digit wind speed, but alas, single digit temperatures forecast. I wish I were in Rome again!

  5. RBrown says:

    To JHughes Dunphy:

I have to say your latest post is an improvement over your erroneous criticism of the Latin verse.

On the other hand, I went to your website and read your essay on Efficacious Grace. My advice to you: Get a hobby.

  6. animadversor says:

Should not your advice to j hughes dunphy be rather to get a different hobby?

  7. catholiclady says:

    Fr. Z –

Thanks for the pix, especially of Sabine farm. Now I have a subject for my next watercolor – puhrfect.

  8. bwest says:

Enjoy your posts Father. Say a prayer for us freezing in Iowa, where the snow is
beautiful, but -30 wind chill is not much fun.
