I got an interesting link from a reader.
I’m just askin’… but does this say what I think it does?
(That question is rhetorical, btw.)

Chant du Pater et troisième Confiteor
2008-10-20 – leforumcatholique.org
First, I must say that I was wrong the other day… or at least I may have been right then, but I might be wrong now… in saying that people could sing the Pater Noster with the celebrant during a missa cantata. It seems… seems… that Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei is saying that only the priest sings the Pater Noster.
However, the PCED also says that the so-called "Second Confiteor" was suppressed.
So… I haven’t seen this on PCED stationary. So, take this for what it is worth.
