Outstanding. And it is promising to see that two of those working on this paper were students.
Now if we could just get Robt. George on the Supreme Court . . .
I’ve read or skimmed through all the pages, including the ad hominem sneers by Kenji Yoshino and the straw men put up by Barry Deutsch. Particularly ironic to my mind was the comment of Jeremy Waldron that “many who are convinced by the gay rights position are upset” that others “refuse to take the liberal position for granted.”
It’s unlikely we’ll ever see Prof. George on the SCOTUS bench … but one can dream ….
This is fantastic! I hope we see more of this debate focused on Natural Law.
You’ll have to dig a bit to find the “Princeton Principles” websites linked in older pages. I found the Witherspoon Institute and the principles here: http://winst.org/publications/index.php
I also “liked” (for lack of a better term) the Witherspoon Institute on Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Witherspoon-Institute/37403005839?ref=ts&v=info
and it just so happens that this topic was at the top of their FB “wall.” They also suggest becoming a fan of Dr. George’s James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions Facebook page, which gives this link to the program: http://web.princeton.edu/sites/jmadison/
