“He [Satan] will set up a counter-Church which will be the ape of the Church because, he the devil, is the ape of God. It will have all the notes and characteristics of the Church, but in reverse and emptied of its divine content. It will be a mystical body of the anti-Christ that will in all externals resemble the mystical body of Christ. In desperate need for God, whom he nevertheless refuses to adore, modern man in his loneliness and frustration will hunger more and more for membership in a community that will give him enlargement of purpose, but at the cost of losing himself in some vague collectivity.”
“Who is going to save our Church? Not our bishops, not our priests and religious. It is up to you, the people. You have the minds, the eyes, and the ears to save the Church. Your mission is to see that your priests act like priests, your bishops act like bishops.”
- Fulton Sheen

PLEASE subscribe via PayPal if it is useful. Zelle and Wise are better, but PayPal is convenient.
A monthly subscription donation means I have steady income I can plan on. I put you my list of benefactors for whom I pray and for whom I often say Holy Mass.
In view of the rapidly changing challenges I now face, I would like to add more $10/month subscribers. Will you please help?

"But if, in any layman who is indeed imbued with literature, ignorance of the Latin language, which we can truly call the 'catholic' language, indicates a certain sluggishness in his love toward the Church, how much more fitting it is that each and every cleric should be adequately practiced and skilled in that language!" - Pius XI
"Let us realize that this remark of Cicero (Brutus 37, 140) can be in a certain way referred to [young lay people]: 'It is not so much a matter of distinction to know Latin as it is disgraceful not to know it.'" - St. John Paul II
Grant unto thy Church, we beseech Thee, O merciful God, that She, being gathered together by the Holy Ghost, may be in no wise troubled by attack from her foes. O God, who by sin art offended and by penance pacified, mercifully regard the prayers of Thy people making supplication unto Thee, and turn away the scourges of Thine anger which we deserve for our sins. Almighty and Everlasting God, in whose Hand are the power and the government of every realm: look down upon and help the Christian people that the heathen nations who trust in the fierceness of their own might may be crushed by the power of thine Arm. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. R. Amen.

Prayer Before Using The Internet HERE
Almighty and eternal God, who created us in Thine image and bade us to seek after all that is good, true and beautiful, especially in the divine person of Thine Only-begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant, we beseech Thee, that, through the intercession of Saint Isidore, Bishop and Doctor, during our journeys through the internet we will direct our hands and eyes only to that which is pleasing to Thee and treat with charity and patience all those souls whom we encounter. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
I don’t get the first one. Even if Mary were pro-choice, that doesn’t mean she’d have aborted Jesus. I know plenty of pro-choice women who have never had an abortion themselves. (Or at least, I assume they haven’t. It’s not like I walk around asking women whether they’ve personally aborted a baby.)
As for the second one, PP is trying to be offensive. They just make themselves out to look like intolerant ideologues.
Mary is only pro good choice. Planned Parenthood thinks abortion is always a good choice, but that giving birth can only be a good choice sometimes.
As an English teacher, I wish it said: If Mary were Pro-Choice…” but it’s good message!
Appears that PP is taking a page from the Peta playbook…
Our Blessed Mother WAS pro-choice, the choice being made BEFORE conception. Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum.
The choice Mary made gave hope to the world and won salvation for men. The “choice” PP is referring to has destroyed an entire generation and subjected its unrepentant clients to eternal damnation. That’s some “choice”. How much more depraved can they get?
Choice on Earth? “To choose” is a transitive verb (it requires an object.) OK, then choose to do what? The answer is left unspoken, simply because it’s unspeakable.
Let’s see… who came up with that sick bumper sticker? Was that that Banned Parenthood, or Planned Barrenhood?

Right on!! Couldn’t have said it better myself.
As a parent of five children, the first of which was unplanned and conceived outside of marriage, the pp advertisement makes my heart break. I can just imagine young people in difficult situations buying into the beautifully packaged lie.
Evil is still evil, no matter how well it’s disguised.
RE: PP. Ick.
This is a good contrast that can work as educational promotion. It just needs to be made a bit more obvious for this confused society:
Poster 1: Similar PP logo with a prenatal baby beside:
“Choice on earth, but no choice for you.”
Poster 2 (below Poster 1): Picture of Mary with prenatal baby beside:
“Peace on earth, especially you precious child.”
Does anyone else find that it’s really creepy that the Star of David is used on the PP billboard? What kind of message is that supposed to convey?
this “Study in Contrasts…” is very well illustrated by the good Bishop of Phoenix. Has anyone followed his battle with St Joseph Medical Center in Phx, a “catholic” hospital. Here’s a quote from one his critics, Lisa Fullam, professor of moral theology at the Jesuit School of Theology at Santa Clara University, “The bishop does not own Catholicism, in his diocese or elsewhere.”
…um that would be Christ the Lord and Bishop Olmsted is His man. This Bishop deserves and needs our prayers. USA Today has a story. Merry Christmas
nanette, I think that symbol is intended to be the generic wintertime snowflake and not a Star of David.
Going by the terms alone makes the contrast blurry. It is because choice is a misnomer. We have choice and that is respected by our God; the fact that Gabrielle had to get our Lady’s fiat shows that. But if we called it what it is e.g. legal abortion vs. respect for life then we see the stark clash of infernal fury and malice against the backdrop of celestial beauty, peace, harmony and grace wrought by humble obedience to God. But PP would not put that in a sticker. Evil always disguises itself as an angel of light – most of the time. Just look at the Democrats and their social conscience (sarc :[ )
Blasphemy on the PP side and isn’t it good for them that Christians do not fight jihad for misuse of Scripture…
This is really depressing. This evil organisation actually has the gall to publish a “Christmas” message!
